What stays in your browser
Our naming and analysis tools process your entered filters, names, surnames and keywords in the browser. The analyzer does not save the surnames you enter. Links that explicitly include a name place that name in the page URL and may appear in browser history and hosting request logs. This release does not send them to an AI provider. When you save a favorite, its name and description are stored using localStorage under the keys namenova.favorites.v1 and namenova.collections.v1, including the collection labels you choose. This allows favorites to remain after the browser closes. We do not receive this list through the application.
Removing your saved names
Remove individual names from My favorites, or clear this site’s data in your browser settings. Clearing browser data also removes your shortlist. Exporting a CSV creates a file on your device. The file is not uploaded by NameNova.
Hosting and technical requests
Your browser requests pages and assets from the hosting service. That service may process IP addresses, browser information and request logs for delivery, security and reliability under its own policies. This public website is hosted by Hostinger. See Hostinger’s privacy policy for its processing practices. The NameNova application itself does not create user accounts or set authentication cookies.
Advertising, analytics and cookies
This release contains no advertising scripts or analytics trackers and sets no application cookies. If advertising or analytics are introduced, this notice and the relevant consent controls must be updated before those services load. Favorites use localStorage, not cookies. Comparisons use sessionStorage under namenova.compare.v1 so a selection follows you between pages in the same tab. It lasts until cleared or the tab session ends; browser session restore may retain it. External links and voice
Opening a source, ICANN or registrar link takes you to a third-party service governed by its own policies. Domain text is included in the lookup URL only when you choose that link. Pronunciation uses your browser’s speech service when you press the audio button; whether synthesis uses a local or remote voice depends on your browser and operating system.
Messages and changes
If you choose to email us, the email provider processes the information you send. This site has no contact form database. We will update this page when the application’s data practices change. Use the Contact page to find our current email address for privacy questions.
